The Wooster Family Foundation

The Wooster Family Foundation is a small charity founded in July 2024 by members of the Wooster family and two independent trustees.

Our aim is to provide grants to non-profit groups / organisations and charities providing services or activities that are in line with the purposes of this charity. The organisations we support are based principally, but not exclusively in Buckinghamshire, but also throughout England. Please note that at present we can only provide a limited number of small grants of up to £500.

Our objectives are:

The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other exclusively charitable purpose by providing grants or donations to charities or other organisations working to provide support and relief to those in need.

We do not support:

Anything political, animal welfare [but training dogs for people with disabilities we would support], anything that is not compatible with our objectives, any organisation not based in England, applications received within two years of a previous application, charities with unrestricted reserves in excess of 12 months running costs, general appeals from National Charities, small contributions to large appeals for vehicles or buildings.

If you wish to apply for a grant please read all our guidance and complete the on-line application form.

Applications need to be emailed to maggiewoosterk6@gmail.com accompanied by your governing document and a recent bank statement.
